Volunteers are people just like you who care; spreading hope and the Gospel

From different churches - Lighthouse, Full Gospel, Vineyard, Bethel, & Alliance.

WAYS TO VOLUNTEER

FOOD - make food to distribute
$ - give monetarily
TIME - on Thursdays give out the food and talk with our "street friends"
PRAYER - pray for changed lives

We are so grateful for your help because we can't do this alone.

Together with God's guidance and your help we CAN bring HOPE to our "street friends".

Outreach guidelines & suggestions to support each other:

OUTSIDE of outreach time - pray for each other, our street friends and the ministry

DURING outreach time - pray together before stepping out, asking for the Lord's guidance, protection and softening of hearts

offer a drink, food and Bible
have a conversation... asking about their story and listening
pray - ask if they want prayer or want to pray
tell your story briefly who you are and why are you doing this?

tell them about JESUS!
Tell them about or a Bible verse that speaks to you & brings you peace.

* If you decide to do outreach on your own, please tell us in the Messenger Chat Group so we can join you on the streets OR pray for you.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

1 Thessalonians 5:14-22

And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all. See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone.
